Living on Cape Cod Heather MacDonald June 19, 2025

1. PB Boulangerie Bistro – 1223 Main St.

Chatham’s French bakery & bistro now serves authentic croissants, artisanal breads, and café fare using Italian ovens. A chic addition to the downtown dining scene that enhances the Cape Cod lifestyle.

2. Three Fins Coffee Roasters – 251 Crowell Rd.

A stunning transformation of the former swim club into a poolside coffee roastery. Specialty brews in a renovated industrial-meets-modern setting offer a compelling local vibe.

3. Pain D’Avignon (Chatham) – Crowell Rd.

This beloved French bakery & café from Hyannis opened in June 2024, serving pastries, grab‑and‑go breakfast items, and wine/beer. A high-end culinary experience for food-conscious.

4. J. Bar – 400 Main St.

The vegan café and juice bar (ribbon-cut in May 2025) brings plant-based smoothies, bowls, and organic coffee to health-minded locals—adding fresh flavor to Chatham’s wellness and lifestyle scene.

5. Codo Mexican Kitchen – 859 Main St.

Opened early 2025 in the renovated Cumberland Farms space, this Baja-style casual eatery specializes in tacos, burritos, margaritas, and outdoor dining—becoming a family-friendly Chatham dining destination.

6. Namazu Ramen – 643 Main St.

Chef Michael Jacek’s Tokyo-style ramen shop (opened March 2025) brings authentic Japanese noodles to downtown Chatham—an unexpected and celebrated addition to the restaurant mix.
