🎆 Cape Cod Fireworks Schedule – 2025
Saturday, June 28
Mashpee – Mashpee High School, festivities start at 5 PM with games, food, and music; fireworks at dusk.
Wednesday, July 2
Orleans – Rock Harbor, fireworks at dusk. Rain date: July 6.
Friday, July 4
Falmouth – Falmouth Heights Beach, fireworks at 9 PM. Rain date: July 5.
Provincetown – Provincetown Harbor, fireworks at dusk.
Wequassett Resort (Harwich) – Pleasant Bay, fireworks as part of the resort’s gala.
4th of July Parades
Barnstable Village
Time: 9:00 AM
Route: Starts at the Barnstable County Courthouse Complex parking lot, travels east on Route 6A, turns left on Millway, right on Commerce Road back to Route 6A, continues through the village, and returns to the county parking lot.
Highlights: A 1.2-mile parade featuring decorated cars, floats, police and fire vehicles.
Chatham
Time: 9:30 AM
Route: Along Main Street
Theme: “Seasons of Chatham”
Highlights: One of the oldest Independence Day parades in the country, showcasing the pride of residents and visitors.
Centerville
Time: 10:30 AM
Route: Begins at Centerville Elementary School, proceeds along Bumps River Road, Park Avenue, and Main Street to the Centerville Recreation Center.
Highlights: Bike parade with a flag-raising and Pledge of Allegiance.
Cotuit
Time: 11:00 AM
Route: Starts on School Street in front of the post office, turns left on Main Street, and continues down Main Street to the former Cotuit Elementary School.
Highlights: Community parade presented by the Cotuit Civic Association.
Falmouth
Time: 10:00 AM
Route: Begins at the Village Green, proceeds down Main Street to Peg Noonan Park.
Highlights: Bike & Carriage Parade featuring decorated bicycles and carriages.
Hyannis Port
Time: 11:00 AM
Route: Starts at the Hyannis Port Post Office on Longwood Avenue, proceeds to Washington, Lafayette, Winchester, Scudder, Dale, ending at the West Beach Club.
Highlights: Traditional parade following a fun run at 9:00 AM.
Orleans
Time: 10:00 AM
Route: Begins on Eldredge Parkway, goes along Route 6A, Main Street, Route 28, and back to Eldredge Park.
Theme: “YOU’RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER FLOAT”
Grand Marshal: Brendan Gutman
Highlights: A showcase of community pride with music, celebration, and fun.
Provincetown
Time: 11:00 AM
Route: Starts at the East End, Harbor Hotel, proceeds up Commercial Street to Franklin Street.
Highlights: Festive and colorful parade through the heart of Provincetown.
Sandwich
Time: 10:00 AM
Route: Kicks off at the Wing School on Water Street.
Highlights: “Spirit of Sandwich” parade celebrating community spirit.
Wellfleet
Time: Classic Car Parade at 9:30 AM; Float Parade at 10:00 AM
Route: Begins at the Town Pier, runs up Holbrook Avenue, turns right on Main Street, continues down Main Street, turns right on East Commercial Street, and ends where it began at the pier.
Highlights: Nostalgic parade featuring classic cars and creative floats.
